Manitoulin Living is a unique non-profit initiative designed to attract new residents to Manitoulin Island. We have discovered that quite often people who visit the Island develop lifelong relationships with the area. Whether people are looking at retirement options or just
looking for a better way of life, Manitoulin’s safe, friendly, scenic communities, opportunities for recreation and involvement both outdoor and indoor, peace of pure nature with silent starry nights, endless lakes and beaches and wildlife in abundance are a great choice and at Manitoulin Living it is our mandate to promote the Island as such. According to the most recent census Manitoulin Island is the only region in Northern Ontario with a growing population, and we think it is especially because retirees, families and remote workers are realizing that we have what they are looking for.
